Sympathy Card using the Japanese Wishing Garden Stamp Set

Recently I have a friend who lost her dad and grandmother within a week. I’m not sure if this is an appropriate sympathy card to be sent to her. But in my old Korean culture, we believe that good people go to a heaven after they die and I was trying to capture an image of the heaven while making this card.

I started by stamping the images from the Japanese Wishing Garden stamp set and colored them with Copic markers. Then I die cut a few clouds in different sizes using Nesting Clouds Infinity Dies and popped them up on my card front using foam tape. I heat embossed my sentiment from the Prayers Stamp & Cut with white embossing powder.

It’s not my best card but I hope you still like it. That’s all for today. Happy crafting! :)

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
