The Stamping Village Birthday Set + Video Blog Hop

The Stamping Village has released another collaborative stamp set and the theme of this one is BIRTHDAYS! It features 12 different 2.5"x1" birthday images, one from each member of The Stamping Village. Today I've used one of the images along with Reactive Inks to create a simple and colorful birthday card.

I gold heat embossed an image from the Happy Birthday by The Stamping Village set on white cardstock square and colored in the balloons using a water brush and Reactive Inks . I used a blending brush and Lemon Drop ink to create a gradient of color above the balloons.

I used the Square Infinity Dies to die cut a thin white frame that I adhered on the stamped panel. This die set contains 17 square dies that are only 1/8" difference from one size to the next, so creating these thin frames is a breeze!

Next, I once again did some ink blending on a square panel of white cardstock using Fruit Punch and Creamsicle Reactive Inks. I spritzed some water over both of my ink blended panels, causing the fun water droplet texture.

I created a 4.25" square card base from Dove White Cardstock and adhered the panels using foam adhesive.

For even more inspiration using this awesome stamp set, there is a Video Blog Hop happening on YouTube that includes members and friends of The Stamping Village. There are lots of giveaways and loads of inspiration so be sure to check it out!
