Vellum Butterflies

One of my very favorite products from the 2016 Catalog is DC182 Butterfly Pair Stamp & Cut. It is the same concept as the Paper Layering dies, but in a Stamp & Cut set. And... it's butterflies!! For today's card I used just the dies, and cut them out on a panel of vellum paper.

The cut butterflies were coated with glitter - oh how I love glitter! I used Bo Bunny Glitter Paste for my card, but really any type of glitter application would be fabulous!

I love how the butterflies look like they are flying right off the card!

This is a Stamp & Cut set, so it does come with butterfly stamps that work wonderfully with the dies, as well as a nice selection of sentiments. Here's a look at the entire stamp set below, and if you'd like to see a stamped sample with the dies and stamps, visit my blog for the card I shared during our catalog reveal blog hop! (I told you - I love this set!!) :-)

I know you are anxious to grab this set for yourself! :-) The new 2016 Catalog products have already begun shipping to retailers so look for them in your favorite store! And they will all be available in the Hero Arts online store on February 8. Thanks for stopping by,

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
