Video: Color Layering Waves Beach Scene

Hello, stampers! For today's card I have created a beach scene that I would love to jump right into and spend an afternoon relaxing in the sun. The Color Layering Waves stamp set never ceases to amaze me with the realistic ocean waves it creates.

Check out the video below to see how the card came together.

(If you’re having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)

I used Pool Party, Blue Raspberry and Blue Hawaii Reactive Inks for the water layers. The sand is watercolored with a gold pearlescent paint that gives it a pretty shimmer.

I also added some white heat embossed clouds and a palm tree on a rock from the Color Layering Sea & Sky stamp set to complete the scene.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Helen,

I love this!!!

Sherri Thacker,

Lovely!!! I have this stamp set & have used it in the past. I like the big “Hello” on your card as it is very appropriate right now with this virus thing going on. Thanks for the tips on doing the water!!!

Karen in Florida,

Great card! This beautiful, peaceful scene reminds me that this is still my very favorite MMH kit.

Karen F.,

Thanks for the wonderful card! Love this set of stamps!

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection.
