Video: Coloring the Pinkfresh Studio Partners Set with Colored Pencils

Hello, Hero Friends! Today, I’m using the Hero Arts Partners Set designed by Pinkfresh Studio called You Make a Difference to further help celebrate Hero Arts’ 45 th Anniversary. Something you probably don’t know is that the script on this set is handlettered by me. It’s so cool to see it in use!

To see the process, you can view the quick video below:

If you have any trouble viewing the video, you can watch it here on YouTube.

I’ve embossed the image on Sand cardstock with Gold embossing powder. Then I colored with Polychromos colored pencils.

Colors used: Madder, Fuchsia, Leaf Green, Deep Cobalt Green, White.

After coloring, I embossed my sentiment and added white gel highlights and finished the card with some jewels.

I hope you enjoyed this card and video! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

I love this pretty, sketchy stamp set and the way you’ve colored it using pencils. One of my favorite things about this large stamp is that it looks so beautiful even with only a small amount of coloring like you did here. Thanks for the helpful video. I would not have thought to use a white pencil to blend my colors or to use a white gel pen to do some linear outlining. If I’d thought to use the white gel pen I probably would have tried to use it on one side of everything, which, after seeing your card, I now know would have been too much. :-)

Michele W,

So pretty!! And fun technique!

Cindy C.,

I love the use of all the different disciplines

Bonnie Reyes,
