Video: Copic Colored Fall Bouquet with the September 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit

Hello friends! It’s Channin here and in today's video I create a beautiful fall floral card with the new September 2022 My Monthly Hero Kit . Check out the video below to see how I Copic color the elegant bouquet image and then create a rich tone-on-tone background to complete the card.

Watch below or on the Hero Arts YouTube channe l .

To create this card I first stamped the bouquet onto Deluxe Smooth White cardstock in INTENS-ified Black ink with a stamp positioning tool. I then Copic colored the image. When I finished coloring, I placed the image back into my MISTI and stamped it again to make the lines darker. Next, I die cut the image out with the matching die and then set the bouquet aside.

I then stamped an A2 panel (4 1/4” x 5 1/2”) of Pumpkin cardstock with the kit’s cling background stamp in Pumpkin ink and then adhered the panel onto the front of an A2 top-folding white card base . Next, I stamped a sentiment in Embossing & Watermark Ink onto Pitch Black cardstock. I then heat set the sentiment in White Detail Embossing Powder and trimmed the sentiment down to a strip.

Next, I trimmed a sheet of vellum down to a 3 1/4” x 4 1/2” panel. I adhered the bouquet to the vellum panel with foam adhesive. Next, I adhered the sentiment to the bouquet. Lastly, I finished the card by adhering the vellum panel to the card front, making sure to place the glue behind the images.

I hope you enjoyed today’s card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Bee-utiful coloring. Especially like the use of vellum.
