Video: Easy Scene Building with Hero Hues Cardstock

Good morning and Happy Monday! Jessica Frost-Ballas here with a cheery congrats card using gorgeous Hero Hues colored cardstocks and a little Reactive ink-blending with the new Open Windows Fancy Die !

Here's a video to go along with today's card:

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please click HERE to watch on YouTube.)

To start I created my sunrise window scene by blending Fruit Punch , Creamsicle , and Lemon Drop Reactive inks onto a panel of Dove White cardstock. Then I die-cut the Open Windows Fancy Die using Pitch Black and Pebble cardstock. I trimmed the shutters off the grey window and adhered it to the black shutters with Liquid Precision Glue .

Next I stamped a sentiment from the Signpost Stamp & Cut XL set onto an A2 panel of Dove White cardstock with Versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder . Then I die-cut lots of flowers and greenery from the Open Windows Fancy Die set using Sand , Cranberry , Cherry , and Adriatic cardstock and adhered them using Liquid Precision Glue . Finally I added centers to the flowers with Sunset enamel dots to finish the card!

And that's it! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

Wonderful card. My daughter is house hunting for first time. We went with her to look at a house this weekend. Inside was wonderful but backyard was not. There was major drainage issue and fence shared by 3 other neighbors was in poor shape. She has till May next yr when she has to give 2 mth notice gefore apt lease is up in Jul.
Rcvd my Kit & add-ons yesterday so I’ll be making a card like this when daughter finds the house to buy.
