Video: Rainbow Z-Fold Card

Hello everyone. It's Dana here with you today. Who's ready for some rainbow fun? And let's add in a Z-fold card base for giggles! Super easy card to create with loads of color.

You can watch the tutorial below or over on the Hero Arts YouTube channel . Also there are written instructions below.

Let's start off with the card base. I used Dove White . Trim down a piece of 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock to 4.25" x 11". Score the cardstock in half. Next you want to score one side of the 5.5" piece in half at 2.25". Now it's time to start stamping.

First we will stamp the Garden Critters stamp along the bottom of our card base. What's so great about the fence in this stamp set, is the ability to extend it by lining up the fence post. I stamped the fence in Intens-ified Black ink making sure to line up the bottom of the stamp in my MISTI. If you don't get lined up correctly, no worries. You can trim down the bottom of your card to make it all straight.

Now it's time to get colorful. Using Hero Arts Ink Blending Brushes , I blended the beautiful Reactive Inks over my card base. The colors I used were Fruit Punch , Lemon Drop , Pool Party and Taffy . I made sure to overlap the colors that were next to each other to get a gradient color. For example, Fruit Punch and Lemon Drop will create an orange color when blended together.

Once the blending was complete, I added a touch of White Iridescent Shimmer Spray . To finish off the card, I placed my sentiments behind the fold of the card and added a few critters on each panel. These images were also stamped in Intens-ified Black ink.

Your card recipient is going to LOVE this card. Anything rainbow always has my heart and I had a blast making this card! I hope you will enjoy making your version as well. Have a great day everyone!
