Good morning! Jess here with a cheery video to start your week! I love the Reactive inks from Hero Arts and today I'm going to show you three fun ways to use them on one card: heat-embossing, ink-blending, and watercoloring!

To start I inked the School of Fish Bold Prints stamp with Lemon Drop and Creamsicle Reactive ink and stamped it onto a panel of Hero Hues Dove White cardstock . I used a blending tool to ensure a smooth blend between the two colors of ink and I used my MISTI to make sure my restamping was accurate each time. I stamped both colors twice for a really solid image! Then while the Reactive ink was still wet I heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder .
Then I blended Pool Party , Blue Raspberry , Splash , and Blue Hawaii Reactive inks over the panel focusing the lighter shades in the center of the panel. Once I finished blending I took a clean paper towel and buffed the excess ink off the embossed areas. The embossed fish resist the ink and become bright and vibrant again. I splattered the panel with water, blotted off the excess, and then set it aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card.
Next I stamped the submarine from Deeply in Love with Versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder . I smooshed Lemon Drop and Creamsicle Reactive inks onto my palette and used a damp paintbrush to watercolor the sub. I also used a little Artprint Brown and Black liquid watercolor for my painting. When I was finished I die-cut it with the coordinating Frame Cuts . I stamped the sentiment from Deeply in Love onto Hero Hues Pitch Black cardstock with embossing and watermark ink and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder . Once the panel was dry I trimmed it down to an A2 panel and adhered it to a top-folding Dove White card base . Then I trimmed the sentiment to a thin label and adhered the sentiment and sub to the panel with foam mounting tape. I added a few accents with a white gel pen and then finished the card with a layer of Crystal Clear Lacquer on the portholes and windows!
