Video: Stormy Autumn Scene with the September My Monthly Hero Kit

Hello friends! It's Channin here with a new video and card featuring the September 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit . In today’s video I will create a stormy autumn scene with the awesome new HeroScape stamp set included in the kit. Watch as I stamp a vibrant field of pumpkins and then ink blend a stormy sky.

(If you are having trouble viewing this video, please try watching it HERE on YouTube.)

To create this card I first stamped the detail layer for the leaves in I NTENS-ified Black Ink onto a panel of Antique Ivory cardstock. I then stamped the base for the leaves in Raspberry Jam . Next, I inked up the base layer for the pumpkins in Tangerine and stamped. Then, on the same stamp, I partially inked up the bottoms of some of the pumpkins in Pale Tomato and stamped. Next, I stamped the detail layer for the pumpkins in Strawberry .

I then moved onto the cornfield and stamped the base layer in Dandelion and partially in Pumpkin Pie as well. I finished the corn field by stamping the detail layer in Pumpkin Pie . I then stamped a second corn field in the stamp colors and die cut both with the matching die.

Next, I stamped the scarecrow in Dandelion onto a scrap of Antique Ivory and then Copic colored the image in. Once, I finished coloring I die cut the scarecrow out with the matching die.

Next, I ink blended the front of an A2 side-folding card base with Fog , Charcoal , and INTENS-ified Black Ink to create the look of a stormy sky. I then stamped a sentiment and birds in Raspberry Jam and INTENS-ified Black Ink and finished the card by adhering the die cuts with Precision Glue.

I hope you enjoyed my card and video! Thank you so much for stopping by!
