Warm Wishes

Good morning! Jess here with a CAS holiday card using new and old classics from the 2017 Wintertime Fun Catalog!

Warm Wishes by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Hero ArtsI love the cute Fox Family wood mounted stamp and thought it would be a great focal point for a square holiday card. I started by cutting a 5.5" square of Snow Layering Paper and laying it in the corner of my MISTI. Then I arranged floral and foliage stamps from Holiday Greetings in an arc in the top left corner of my square and inked them with Intense Black ink.

Then I turned the square clock-wise, laid it back in the MISTI, and stamped again. I continued this all the way around the square until I had a loose wreath around the border of my panel.

Next I stamped my Fox Family in the center of the wreath with Intense Black ink and colored their black legs with a copic marker. Then I stamped the sentiment from Christmas Banner Stamp & Cut onto red cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, and die-cut it with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the banner to the card with foam mounting tape and then mounted the panel on a red cardstock base. Finally I added new Poinsettia sequins to finish the card with a little sparkle!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and don't forget to check out our 2017 Wintertime Fun Catalog blog hop for a chance to win one of three Hero Arts shopping sprees! Have a great day!
