With Love Floral Heart Wreath

Hello there, Michelle here and today I have a card to share with you using the new Floral Heart Wreath set that was released yesterday as an add-on product to the January 2020 My Monthly Hero Kit.

I love this wreath as it is perfect for lots of different occasions - Valentine's, wedding, sympathy, love and friendship. For today's card, I thought I would create a generic "with love" card. I started off by stamping the wreath using Intens-ified Black Ink on to white cardstock. I then coloured the wreath using Copic Markers and cut it out using the Floral Heart Wreath Frame Cuts.

I took a top folding card card base and cut off 1/4" from the side so that the wreath could overhang on the card but still fit in a standard sized envelope. I took a scoring board and bone folder and scored lines on to the front of the card base for some added interest (I apologize that they are difficult to see in the photos).

The wreath was added to the card using foam tape. I then took the sentiment from the Flower Bouquet Pieces set and stamped it on to Hero Hues Pitch Black Premium Cardstock with Clear Embossing & Watermark Ink. I applied White Detail Embossing Powder and heat set. It was then cut in to a strip and added to the card. To finish off, I added a few enamel dots from the Purple Hero Hues Enamel Dots mix.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, have a wonderful day!

Hilde Larsen aka. Tindaloo,

Oh this is so pretty!!

Cindy C.,

A lovely card for Valentines’. I haven’t seen a purple used much. With roses or used in Valentine cards. Thank-you

Mischelle Smith,

The soft palette is just delightful!
