World's Best Dad

Hello and welcome! Seeka here and today I'm sharing a Father's Day card featuring the new Apron Stamp & Cut XL set. I really love the dies in this set and the sentiments are perfect for a variety of occasions!

I started off by die cutting the apron from a piece of Paradise cardstock and the sweet little spatula and tongs from a matte silver cardstock. To add a bit of dimension, I used a blending brush to blend Aquatic ink around the edges of the die cut apron. Then, I stamped the sentiment and the fork and spoon image onto the apron using Onyx pigment ink. Next, I tucked the utensils into the pockets and taped the bottom of the handles in place on the back side of the apron.

For the background, I stamped the Kitchen Shelf Background in Citrine pigment ink onto a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of Deluxe Smooth White cardstock. I trimmed 3/8" off both the length and the width of the panel, keeping the image centered, and then used foam tape to adhere it to an A2-sized white card base. To finish, I used more foam tape to adhere the apron to the card.

Thank you so much for visiting!
