You Are My Paradise

Hola everyone! Pocono Pam here with you today sharing a card I created with the Hero Lifestyles Luau Accessories. This Fancy Die set is a fun addition to the My Monthly Hero February 2021 Kit or can be used alone for other projects.

The full Hero Arts Lifestyles line will be released on February 17th with our 2021 Catalog collection. If you haven’t already done so, you may take a peek at the PDF Catalog HERE.

To create my card, I coordinated the Hero Lifestyles Luau Accessories with the Hero Lifestyle Forms Fancy Die set. I started by die-cutting all of the elements I would need to assemble the Lifestyle forms. I like to call them paper dolls!

The various colors of Hero Hues Premium Cardstock I die-cut to create my dolls include: Sand, Chestnut, Pitch Black, Paradise, Meadow, Palm, Amethyst, Mustard and Peony.

To add depth, dimension and interest, I layered the grass skirt, stamped the shorts with the small hibiscus from the MMH February 2021 Kit 6” x 8” clear stamp set and added a bit of shading with Copic markers.

I die-cut, stamped and colored the surfboard from the Hero Lifestyle at the Beach set - also part of the release on February 17th!

I set my paper dolls and surfboard aside and stamped the Hibiscus Flowers Bold Prints background stamp onto a 3 3/4” X 5” Mist panel with VersaMark Watermark Ink.

Once dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Waterfall HeroScape stamp set onto the lower left hand corner of the card panel with Intense Black Ink and adhered the panel to a Dove White side-folded A2 card base.

I then glued the surfboard onto the card panel. I popped my paper dolls onto the panel with foam dots and added a few enamel dots to complete the card.

I chose not to add Hero Lifestyles Faces - yep - part of the new Lifestyles release on the 17th.

This card was a lot of fun to create. The Hero Lifestyles Luau Accessories along with the new Lifestyles collection will provide hours of fun for kids of all ages!

Thanks for taking a peek! Have a great rest of your week!

Debossed Snowflake Christmas Card Tutorial with Snowflake Background Etched Dies

Hello there, Michelle Short here to share a step-by-step tutorial using the Snowflake Background Etched Dies from the Lisa Horton Snowflake Kisses Collection. The Snowflake Background Etched Dies are two layers which you can cut as a base layer and a top layer. For my card today, instead of having die cut layers, I thought that I would deboss the design.
