You're Fabulous

Hello! Today I'm back to give you a look at another project using the hero_product_link sku="AF356" text="Kelly's Flowers"] set of Color Layering Ink Cubes. With the addition of hero_product_link sku="AF249" text="white pigment ink"] the two pink inks in this pack work great for our popular hero_product_link sku="CL962" text="Color Layering Flamingo"] set.

The bottom layer is stamped with Ultra Pink ink, the second layer with Unicorn pigment ink, and the top layer with Raspberry Jam. Thanks to Yana for this awesome technique using the white ink! It's a great way to stretch your ink colors if you don't have a third coordinating ink to use.

I used the other two colors in the cube pack (Tide Pool and Emerald Green) to create a light background wash of color on watercolor paper. I just put some ink on an acrylic block, misted it with water and used a paintbrush to create the background. These dye inks are definitely not what I would ideally use for watercolor, but I thought I'd experiment and it worked!

You're Fabulous by Kelly Rasmussen for Hero ArtsFor the background behind the watercolor panel I stamped the hero_product_link sku="CG659" text="Tropical Background"] using Emerald Green Ink. I thought it was a great compliment to the flamingo!

To finish off the card I scattered some of my favorite crystal sequins and put an eye on the flamingo using Black Enamel Accents.

Hope you have a fabulous day!
